Billie Ann Blankenship, 77, of Pineville died Friday, March 29, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House, with her loved ones by her side.
Born July 3, 1946, in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Johnson and Geneva Geraldine Perdue Johnson.
Billie loved being outside doing yard work and really enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening. She never missed a chance to travel when she could. Family gatherings were her favorite, they were very Important to her because she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her children so much!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Bradley Walker and siblings, Alvin Johnson, Steven Johnson, Charmalee Cline, and Cecelia Mullins.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, William Clarence Blankenship; her two children, Leshia Cline Ratliff and husband Robbie and Troy D. Cline and wife Pam; sisters, Kathy Merriman, Maranda Riffe and husband Roy, and Missy Lester and husband Mark; four grandchildren Tonya Cook and husband Jason, Nicole Cochran and husband Daniel, Savannah Cline, T.J. Cline and companion Angellica; nine great-grandchildren, Kinlee, Skylar, Cheyenne, Kyrian, Emmalee, Davyn, Jackson, Gavinn, Avery; a special aunt, who was like a sister, Diana Browning and husband Chester; special nieces, Kelly, Geneva, and Juanita; a special nephew, Calvin; special friends, Rose and Donald McCoy; and so many people she loved, especially extended family that were very close to her.
